Youth Options: Youth Options is a statewide program that allows eligible high school juniors and seniors to take college level courses and earn credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree at the same time. Applications for the spring semester are due on October 1st. Students interested in Youth Options should see their counselors. For more information go to Youth Options Application.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): CHS contracts with Gateway to provide students the opportunity to take the Nursing Assistant course and earn state certification. This course is offered as an evening class each semester. Interested students must submit a Youth Options Application by October 1st for the spring semester.
Course Options: Students enrolled in a Wisconsin public school district may apply to take up to two courses at a time at an approved high school or college. Participating students remain enrolled in their resident school districts for the majority of their classes. The resident school district is responsible for the cost of the course, though students may be charged additional tuition and fees for courses eligible for college credits. For more information go to http://dpi.wi.gov/courseoptions.
