CHS DONATIONS
We would like to extend a thank you to everyone who contributed to all the fundraisers this year so far. Last donation day we raised a total of $130 which brings us to a total of $58,897.00 total.
About CHS Fundraisers:
On each pay-day Friday, staff members are asked to donate a minimum of $5 to a particular charity. To encourage participation, teachers are allowed to wear blue jeans on the day of the fundraiser. The wearing of blue jeans was chosen for a couple of reasons:
1. Ordinarily, staff members are not allowed to wear blue jeans. Thus, the opportunity to do so is a real treat!
- Unlike t-shirts, candy, or buttons, the wearing of blue jeans costs nothing. This insures that 100% of the funds raised go directly to the charity rather than being used to defray those types of expenses.
