As a community of learners, our mission is to ensure all students acquire the knowledge, skills and character to thrive as contributing members of a global society.  Central High School is proud to be made up of a very caring and highly qualified staff.  Our curriculum is continuously undergoing review to ensure students are challenged with the most relevant and current expectations based on State and National Standards, post-secondary educational requirements and future employer expectations.  At Central, we have and demand high expectations for all our students.  It is understood that all students can meet these expectations, but to do so requires support from not only the many professionals here at Central, but from parents or guardians of students as well.

HOW TO ENROLL AT CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL

Where do I enroll my student?
Enrollment occurs at Central High School. 

During the school year, the enrollment process can begin on any regular school day from 8:00-3:00 PM.   If you are not available during these times, please contact our Registrar, Mrs. Pfeuffer at (262) 843-2321 ext. 227 to arrange an alternative time.

During summer, there are designated days set aside for enrollment.  Please call Mrs. Pfeuffer to schedule an appointment for one of these days.

School Calendar

What do I need to bring to the enrollment appointment?

• Proof of Residency (a current lease, purchase agreement, or current utility bill.  We cannot accept cell phone bills.)

• Enrollment forms – Please print and complete prior to your appointment.  If you unable to print these forms, please contact Mrs. Pfeuffer at
  (262) 843-2321 ext. 227 to have the forms mailed or stop by the school to pick them up.

• Medical Information and Consent Form 
• Immunization Record
• Lunch Choices

Complete these forms if applicable

• Free or Reduced Lunch Application
• Fee Waiver Request 
• Medication Administration Requests

• Academic Records or other Educational Papers:  While these are not required, it will help with initial planning if you can bring documents showing what courses or special programs your student was involved with.  When you come to enroll, we will make a formal request to the student’s prior school for records, however having these documents available will help our counselors with preliminary plans for placement.

TUITION WAIVER  INFORMATION

Under certain circumstances, state laws permit your student to continue attending school in a school district even after you move out of the school district.

OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

Open Enrollment for 2012-13 is February 6-24, 2012
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they reside. Please see the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website for more information regarding open enrollment at http://dpi.wi.gov/sms/psctoc.html
