Jeni Schultz

At a young age I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. (There aren't many 8-year-olds who know what they want to be when they grow up.) I graduated from UW-Parkside in 2005 with a degree in math and a minor in Spanish (because I was moving to Arizona). I did my student teaching in AZ and taught 7th. grade math my first year. And then something strange happened...I moved back to Wisconsin and got a job teaching at my alma mater (class of 2000). I have been at CHS for 6 years.

I really liked math growing up. I saw it more of a puzzle...a game...a challenge; I liked that there was always an answer. As for teaching teenagers...I find my students to be interesting, some even fascinating. Besides, I'm an aspiring screenwriter and some of my students are real characters...if you know what I mean.
