Welcome
Hi! I'm Mrs. Zavacke. I graduated from Carthage College in May of 2003 with a major in Broad Field Social Studies and a minor in Secondary Education. In May of 2007, I graduated from Carthage with a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling. I'm also certified to teach geography, history, sociology, and general social studies classes. I have been an assistant coach of the forensics team for seven years. I started teaching at Central in the Fall of 2003. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
Courses
World History: World History cover topics in the "modern" world such as exploration of the New World, the Enlightenment, Revolutions, Nationalism, Industrialization, Imperialism and World War. U.S. History: U. S. History covers the United States within the 20th Century and today by discovering the social and political changes over time. Sociology: Sociology is the study of people in groups within society. Students will look at topics such as culture, socialization, social structure, race, gender, crimes, and family. |
