WELCOME TO THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR!
We welcome our students for the start of a new school year to the Central High School District of Westosha. A special welcome is extended to our new families who will be joining us for the first day of high school for your teenage child. We are so glad to have you! Our outstanding teachers and staff will support you every step of the way.
Central High School is truly fortunate to have such a quality team of teachers, administrative and support staff that are dedicated to providing you the highest quality educational opportunities in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment. Each summer our custodial staff does an excellent job in preparing our school for a new school year through their cleaning, painting and giving the school a fresh new look. To our administrators, support staff and teachers who have been here throughout the summer working with summer school students, taking training courses to assist them be even better teachers – we can only be assured a successful start to our new school year.
The Central High School District fully appreciates that every student we serve is unique. As educators, we recognize the great potential of every student. It is our responsibility to help every student reach their full potential. I am confident you will find that your high school student will have numerous opportunities to succeed at Central.
With the opening of a new school year, we see promise, opportunities, and challenges. We must be willing and ready to embrace them all, together. This year, once again, our team is committed to making significant progress on achieving the mission of our strategic plan that states in part, “…to ensure all students acquire the knowledge, skills and character to thrive as contributing members of a global society through a quality caring staff, a challenging relevant curriculum and diverse opportunities to achieve personal success.”
Again, welcome! We look forward to an exciting year ahead with you as members of our school community.
With Kind Regards,
Dr. R. Scott Pierce
