Film Studies

Advisor:  Bryan Wehr

The purpose of The Central Film Club is to teach students about film. We critically watch and discuss films in order to gain a better knowledge not only about the history of film, but also how films are made. The films that The Central Film Club watches are films that have had an impact on the art of film or are a result of such an impact. Topics discussed will range from camera angles and editing, to film genre types and student opinions about the films we watch. The club is designed to promote critical discussion about film. We meet on Fridays, in Mrs. Andersen’s room (117). Everyone is welcome to join the Film Club experience.
