The Gay-Straight-Alliance at Central is established with the benefit of LGBTQ students and allies in mind. The GSA serves as a group of people, regardless of gender and/or sexual orientation, who bring awareness of LGBTQ issues and build a community of acceptance and tolerance for all people at Central, within a safe environment. The GSA also acts as a social group where students can socialise, meet new people, create friendships, grasp different points of view and reduce the feeling of isolation and depression that students can feel at times.
