Thank you for visiting my page! I am a graduate of Westosha Central High School, Class of 1999, and love teaching. I earned my Master's in Business Education at UW-Whitewater and traveled to Australia to do part of my student teaching.
I co-advise our student organization, ABS (Association of Business Students), in our department. Students have a lot of opportunities within ABS through FBLA and DECA and continuously work on future readiness skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership.
Getting students to own their future is my "WHY." We all have amazing opportunities in this world if we are pointed in the right directions. Self-advocacy is important for all students so that they have the knowledge needed to succeed and are given the chance to participate in decisions that are being made about their life.
Pictured here is my family. I have four children (Callie, Kenna, Jadyn and Jayce) and my husband's name is Derik. We love to go on family vacations, spend time with our neighbors, ride bikes, take walks, go to the movies and enjoy the lake in the summertime.
I am excited to work with ALL students in business classes and ABS this year and help prepare them to own their future!
