Animal Welfare and the Environment Club will focus on providing students with opportunities to work with various animals and visit animal organizations including, but not limited to, various sanctuaries, zoos and shelters. Students will also be able to attend Trees for Tomorrow Nature School in Eagle River for four days in the spring on a forestry scholarship. Events such as park and beach clean-ups, making our own sustainable products and learning about environmental issues will also be important!
