Mr. Biggin's Syllabi
BIO:
Mr. Biggin attended college at UW- Platteville, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Technology Education and Drivers Education after switching majors from Premed/ Biology. He came to Westosha in July 2019 and previously taught at Bigfoot High School from 2015-2019 after teaching Tech ed at Delavan - Darien High School and Oak Creek - Franklin High School. Favorite classes to teach are Mechanical Drafting ( 3D modeling) and Metals.
Mr. Biggin participates in various local art and blade shows around the country, most often Midwest Fire Fest in Cambridge WI (July) and The Badger knife show (Janesville WI) Mr. Biggin was also featured as one of the first competitors on the History Channels spin off of Forged in Fire ( Knife or Death) and appeared on Season 7 of Forged in Fire. Mr. Biggin holds professional memberships in the American Bladesmith Society and the Midwest Knifemakers Guild.
Hobbies and fun facts:
Mr. Biggin has been a Blacksmith / Custom Knifemaker since 2005 which he continues at his home shop making custom cutlery for clients around the world and has been featured multiple times in the internationally circulated Blade Magazine for his work.
Participates in Tough Mudder runs twice a year in the Midwest events held in spring and fall.
Has been doing various martial arts since 2006, Aikido, Tae kwon do, jiu jitsu and some MMA in East Troy and Madison.
Enjoys weight training ,personal fitness and playing paintball
Long boarding and hiking are favorite pastimes in warm weather
Has 3 cats and one horse, 1 dog
Enjoys puns and creative sarcasm.
