Paul Robertson, Science Department

Mr. Paul Robertson, Science Department

Mr. Robertson is coming to Westosha as the new physics teacher.  He has 24 years of experience in education and has been a high school physics teacher, a middle school ELL science teacher, and most recently an assistant principal.  His degrees include a bachelor’s degree in physics education, a master’s degree in environmental science, a certificate in bilingual education, and an administrative license.  Some career highlights include writing and training high school teachers in a curriculum called SolarWise for Schools, training middle school teachers in an Einstein kit called Machines and Motion, and presenting a thesis on composting at UWGB.

Virtual Veterans Day Celebration Veterans Day

Due to COVID-19, Central High School will be unable to host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Instead we will presenting a Virtual Veterans Day celebration on November 11th.

The ceremony will include a speech, musical performances by our band and choir and a slide show of Veterans/Active Duty Service Members who live/lived in Kenosha Area, attend/attended Central High School, or who have immediate family in the Kenosha County.

If you would like to submit a photo of a Veteran/Active Duty Service Member who meets the above criteria, please fill out the online entry form. The deadline for Submission is Friday, October 30th.

Key Club’s Spooktacular Countdown

ALL MONEY RAISED WILL GO TOWARD TRICK-OR-TREAT FOR UNICEF

UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents. This year Key Club’s Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF funds will support The Eliminate Project, which will provide resources and advocacy to support elimination of maternal and neonatal tetanus with UNICEF and partners.
