Our next Business Partner Spotlight is Cory & Jamie Maurer from Addicted2Deals! Their advice to current students is to do what makes you happy and that you feel excited to do each day. If it is working with animals, building things, or starting their own business, there are ways that students can make a plan to create a stable life for themselves while being able to look in the mirror every morning and be happy with the choices they have made in their lives. #weAREwestosha

WCHS hosted the 2026 District Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, February 21st; 10 middle & high schools participated. The WCHS Band had 125 students participate in 47 events. Of those 47 events, 82 students in 28 events earned a performance at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival held at UW-Parkside on Saturday, May 2nd. Congratulations to the solos, duets, trios, quartets, and instrumental ensembles who earned a performance at State Solo & Ensemble! #weAREwestosha

Congratulations to our Cheer team for earning TWO State Championships! They were phenomenal, earning the highest scores out of ALL of the teams in BOTH Traditional and Game Day. Congratulations to the athletes and coaches! #weAREwestosha

The Forensics team is off to a great start this season. For their first two tournaments of the season, the team took home 1st place trophies at the Union Grove tournament on 2/14 and Friday Night Lights at Waterford High School on 2/27! #weAREwestosha

Meet Imagin Melrose, a 2024 WCHS graduate currently attending the University of West London. She is our final Alumni Spotlight for #CTEMonth! During her time at Westosha Central, she was active in student organizations, athletics, and took a variety of courses in our Business & Marketing Department.

Advice to current students:
My one piece of advice would be to make little goals, no matter how silly the motivation behind it may seem. I know that I improved my writing and presentation abilities in high school just because I wanted to go on a trip for DECA. In the end, it improved my skills, and that's how I speak today, even if, at the time, it didn’t seem like it had a significant effect. Those goals are what lead you further to what you want to achieve.

Meet Aubrey Reeves, a current Senior at WCHS!

She's active in our Family & Consumer Science department, specifically in Culinary and ProStart. Her career goal is to be a food and beverage director for a large organization or own a coffee shop.

Her favorite Classes/Coursework: Designing restaurants for the ProStart management competition and making dishes out of the leftover ingredients in the fridge during international foods. #CTEMonth #weAREwestosha
