Today was the first of two MyLIFE sessions for the 2025-2026 school year! MyLIFE is a comprehensive interactive financial literacy program for high school students designed to demonstrate the importance of sound money management skills. Our Cross Country athletes competed at the State Meet last weekend! Payton Huinker and Abby Lensmeyer made huge improvements from last year competing at the State meet. Alivia Monson, Adalyn Wasley, Cambree Lois, Gia Rampa, Amber Vandervere, and Alexis Davis made their debut on the State course. All had a solid performance on one of the hardest XC courses in the state. Congrats on a great 2025 season! #weAREwestosha

A group of 45 physics students recently took a trip to UW-Parkside and Gateway Technical College in Kenosha to explore careers and post-secondary options that involve physics.

They support students in their transition into high school and provide valuable information regarding drug and alcohol use, mental health, and positive school culture.

AP Environmental Science students recently completed a soil properties lab. Students did two labs, one where they had soil sit in soap for a few days to settle, and then they calculated the percentages of each layer to determine the soil type of the sample. The other was a texture test. #weAREwestosha

We are proud to announce that 820 students received FREE college credit from Gateway Technical College in the 2024-25 school year through the Transcripted Credit program. The total cost savings for our students was $397,385.77, an increase of $36,885.20 from the previous year. Congratulations to the WCHS Transcripted Credit teachers; this program is only possible due to our highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff!
