Raise Your Voice (RYV) club members recently attended the Ending the Silence Training by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Wisconsin. Thank you to Dianna and Molly for educating our students on the prevalence and impact of mental illness, teaching us how to get ourselves and others connected to the necessary resources, and for sharing your stories with us.
At the completion of this training, members received a green bandana to proudly display on their backpacks. This indicates that they are safe individuals to approach with mental health-related concerns, that they know where resources are, and that they hold a few resource cards with outlets to get help and support in times of crisis. #weAREwestosha
