On March 6th, Doorway to College will be hosting the ZAPS ACT test-prep seminar for any juniors who sign up.
In the ZAPS test-prep seminar, your student will: Learn tips for improvement in all subtests Practice strategies to eliminate wrong answer choices Take short practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive extensive materials for home practice ...and much, much more!

The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin is pleased to announce that the following student-athletes from Westosha Central have been recognized as 2025 Academic All-State honorees: Camille DeLost Addison Feekes Presley Castellano Violet Hamm Ava Rasch
Students must meet the following criteria to be considered for this great award: The student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, have participated in at least 75% of their team's varsity competitions during the 2025 season, be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct at their participating schools, and be either a sophomore, junior, or senior! Franny had her first vet visit with Dr. Doug Keen over winter break, and got a clean bill of health! She loved her visit and got some extra cuddles and treats. The induction will take place at Westosha Central High School during the SLC Wrestling Quad. This event honors Coach Watson’s years of dedication, leadership, and impact on countless student-athletes.

Our YA students are out in the community earning paychecks, building skills, and testing out real careers, before they even walk across the stage. There are YA opportunities in career paths, including marketing, nursing, electrician, automotive technician, and more.

Before winter break, WCHS Alumna Ani Minic spoke to Advanced Sports & Entertainment Marketing and Management/Entrepreneurship students about her post-high school journey. Ani covered many topics, including her high school experience, athletics, securing internships in the Sports/Entertainment industry, as well as tips on time management and staying organized. Following the presentation, our current students engaged in a question-and-answer session with Ani to dive deeper into these topics and others!

NHS chapters are present in high schools across the United States and other countries, where members participate in chapter and individual service projects and activities to serve their schools and communities. The club currently meets once a month in the upper commons to discuss typical service hour requirements and service projects.
